(12) Sexable Sea Foam Egger Mix

This Sea Foam Mix includes a unique selection of three to four sexable breeds and hybrids to bring stunning ocean inspired colors to your egg basket.
The mix features: our Aquamist Viridian Sexlinks which are Olive Egger backcrosses that lay gorgeous shades of seafoam green with occasional hints of teal or bluish gray tones from a tinted bloom, Mars-Bar Olive Eggers known for their vibrant green eggs, and either Crested Cream Legbars that produce sky blue eggs or Phantom Legbars that lay blue and teal eggs. These are all sexable chickens that you will be able to tell the gender of at hatch as the males will all have a white dot on their heads.
Descriptions of the breeds included⬇️

1️⃣ Our Aquamist Viridian chicks are sex-linked, designer hybrid backcrossed olive eggers, producing stunning shades of seafoam green eggs, sometimes with hints of light teal or bluish gray tones from a tinted bloom. These chicks are homozygous for the blue eggshell gene, and 100% of females lay beautiful seafoam green eggs. While this is the only generation that is sex-linked, pairing our Aquamist Viridian Sexlinks together will reliably produce offspring that lay the same gorgeous seafoam green egg color.
Your chicks will hatch black and may display a variety of traits, including pea combs, muffs, and even crests! Males are easily identifiable by a small white dot on their heads, while females have solid black heads.

2️⃣ Our Mars-Bar F1 Olive Egger chicks are a sex-linked hybrid that produce beautiful olive green colored eggs and are heterozygous for the blue egg shell gene. Hardy and friendly, these chickens are perfect for backyard flocks. Males are easily identified by a white dot on their heads, while females have solid black heads. Their charming personalities and unique egg color make them a standout addition to any flock.

3️⃣ Our Autosexing Crested Cream Legbars are a carefully cultivated line, bred toward the standard of perfection. With their distinctive crests and unique appearance, they’re as beautiful as they are functional. Exceptional foragers, they thrive in free range environments while consistently laying lovely blue eggs. At hatch males are a lighter brown/tan and have a white/yellow spot on the top of their heads, while females are darker and have darker still stripes down their head and back.

4️⃣Phantom Legbars
Phantom Legbars are a fibromelanistic crested sex-linked hybrid that lay beautiful shades of blue and teal eggs. Their unique appearance makes them one of the most eye-catching additions to any flock, adding a touch of ethereal beauty while remaining practical backyard layers.
These chicks hatch black, with males easily identified by a white spot on their heads while females hatch with solid black heads.

NOTE: When ordering this mix you will receive ALL BLUE EGGS. Each egg will be marked for what the offspring hatched will be. Please keep track of who hatches out of each marked egg as I cannot accurately identify mixed batches of chicks. I can help sex them so feel free to reach out with photographs for help with sexing.

Building this clutch was truly a labor of love. It took me years to perfect our "Aquamist Viridian Sexlinks" which wouldn't have been possible without our Midnight Viridians. Creating our Aquamist Viridian, a blue gene homozygous sea foam green laying sexlink with combined traits of crests, muffs, and pea combs, is something I am very proud of.
